Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris was announced back on March 30th. No release date for the game has been announced.

The game has already drawn criticism as the trailer reveals the Administrator character has been censored. Not only was the Adminstrator censored, but producer Yosuke Futami and game director Satoru Hirayae spoke with Dengeki PlayStation Magazine indicating the sexual content of the game had been reduced from the anime. VGChartz summarized their discussion:

“Sexual content will likely be reduced. Asked by Dengeki about co-spleeping events – a tradition in the series – the producer said it might be ‘difficult in the current times’ and that players ‘shouldn’t expect too much about it.'”
