My source has provided me with information for the on sale date of theater tickets for Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker film.

My source tells me tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, September 23rd at 9 AM ET. It’s quite possible we might get another trailer at that time. Hollywood has made it a habit of late to release new trailers in order to announce when tickets go on sale.

Not only did my source reveal when tickets will go on sale for Joker, but they also revealed that Joker will have early shows beginning on October 3rd at 4 PM local time.

The Joker film has already caused quite a stir as a number of individuals have attempted to apply their own political agendas to a film they haven’t seen yet. (Related: Valiant Comics Editor Heather Antos Falsely Claims James Holmes Was Inspired by Joker)

Not only have people been applying their own political agendas to the film they haven’t seen, but critics who have seen the movie have made it very clear they reviewed the film based on their politics rather than the merits of the actual film. Despite the naysayers, the film is currently predicted to have a record-breaking triple-digit opening weekend. Box Office Pro predicts it could make as high as $105 million in its 3-day opening weekend.
