Cosplay of the Day: Kseniya aka Kamiko Zero as Lady Death

Lady Death is one of those rare iconic characters that is neither Marvel nor DC.

Created by Brian Pulido, she first appeared in Evil Ernie #1 in December of 1991.

The character of Lady Death would soon split from Evil Ernie and found success in the 90’s and early 2000’s as the star of her own book.

Once known as Hope, Lady Death wields the sword named Deathbringer.

She is also adept with spellcraft, and often fights evil with her own dark powers.

Today, cosplayer Kseniya, aka Kamiko Zero, brings Lady Death to life.

As Kseniya notes her pose is based off a comic book cover, and that cover is Lady Death #5 from the 2010 series.

Take a look.

Lady Death has had an array of looks over the years, but this is her most utilized.

Kseniya absolutely nails the trademark flowing white hair.

Moving on to the other costume parts, you’ll notice the trademark Death’s head choker.

Everything is accurate in the torso area, from her leather skull adorned bra top, to her long leather gloves.

From there, we move to the lower parts of the costume.

You can see the Death’s head adorned bikini style bottoms, combined with the unforgettable Death’s head garter stockings.

Finally, we see the high heeled gothic style boots, which are a Lady Death staple.

No Lady Death cosplay would be complete without the famous Deathbringer sword, and Kseniya once again faithfully recreates the original.
