Despite Disney’s corporate leadership cowering to the LGBTQ lobby within their company, there are many voices in the house of Mouse who are in support of the very law the corporation is actively fighting against.

Progressive employees of The Walt Disney Company have used their positions to turn Disney into their shield and sword against Florida Governor Rob DeSantis and the state of Florida.

Disney executives have come out of the woodwork to oppose a bill that prevents the teaching of sexuality and transgenderism to children between kindergarten through third grade. Many of them have used the issue to highlight their own push to target young children with LGBTQ messaging within the company.

While it seems like everyone in Disney is tripling down on left-wing politics, many of their own employees are forced to display their displeasure of Disney’s decision in secret in fear of retaliation.

Earlier this week, messages were leaked by a cast member to Human Events Daily’s Jack Posobiec from internal communications boards showing that many Disney employees are in favor of the bill and don’t agree with the company’s loud opposition towards it.

While the names and photos have been blacked out to protect the identities of the employees speaking out, their messages display a growing level of concern about the company’s political stance and the voices are coming from a diverse line of backgrounds.

One anonymous employee who identifies as gay detailed their support for Florida’s Parental Bill. In the e-mail, they state, “I support the bill, I’m gay and I think any form of sexual education shouldn’t be taught until you’re old enough to understand it. Not when you are young and influential to the people who are teaching you.”

The employee continues by calling out those in opposition to the bill, “Leave the bill alone because it isn’t infringing on ANY member of the LGBT community.” they said.

“If you think it is then maybe the issue lies with you wanting children to be involved with sexual things before their physically and mentally ready for it,” the anonymous cast member concluded.

A second employee not only defended the bill but shed some light on issues of mistreatment within the corporation.

“This bill puts the power into parents hands. As a parent I would want my child’s teacher to come to me and tell me what is going on. I fully believe that Disney should not be involved in anything political at all,” the employee said. “Disney company claims they don’t do political funding, but here they are saying they are stopping all funding.”

The employee would later state in their post, “Cast members are bring forced to work MANDATORY Overtime each week, benefits are slowly going down hill and we are being berated and terrorized by Rich, Entitled Guests who think that we are there to be a chopping block because they had their stroller moved.”

“Disneyland and Walt Disney World Parks are starting to slip into disaster based on the fact that prices are increasing, food portions are decreasing and Cast Members are not wanting to work because the Company is forcing them to work MANDATORY overtime to the point of mental exhaustion,” the employee added.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that he would be undertaking a “listening tour” to hear the impact of Florida’s anti-grooming legislation on employees. But it is clear that only one side is being brought to the table. A third employee exposed the hypocrisy of this statement claiming the company has not been open to all forms of discussion.

The employee stated, “Disney should not be taking a political stance on anything that affects ALL of its employees one way or another. No matter which side you take, you are excluding the other. Let the workplace be the workplace, and live your life at your own house.”

A final employee echoed the thoughts of their co-workers while calling out people who are opposing the Florida bill without even reading the bill itself.

“Let children be children,” the employee wrote. “Most everyone is very ignorant as to what the actual wording of what the bill says and to who it applies. It doesn’t apply to gay or trans. It applies to our education system.”

“The Governor of Florida along with the state legislature felt compelled to write a bill that give the rights to the parents of raising their kids as well as having regulations to our school systems. If kids ask about sex, then I believe it is the parents responsibility and discretion, but also if the teachers are asked from the students then the teachers need to communicate it to the parents as noted in the bill,” the employee stated.

Over the last few weeks, key Disney employees such as executive producer Latoya Raveneau, and President of Disney General Entertainment Content Karey Burke have admitted to backing the company’s attempt at pushing the LGBTQ agenda within their brand.

Burke spoke on how important it was for her to have “many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in our stories” as the mother of transgender and pansexual children.

Latoya Raveneau, who is an executive producer for Disney Television Animation later revealed how she has turned the studio into her own personal pocket to insert as much LGBT content as possible.

As a result of this, hundreds of protestors descended on Disney corporate headquarters in Burbank, California to protest the company’s sudden embrace of the far-left.

The protest organized by the Christian group Hold the Line, took place in front of the main gate of Disney headquarters where a large portion of them protested “Boycott Disney” outside of the gates.

A viral video of a woman who identified herself as a conservative Disneyland worker spoke about how difficult it has become for right wing employees to have their voices heard within the company’s wall.

“I’m a cast member here, well for Disneyland actually, I have been with them for quite a long time,” the woman said.

“It has gotten very political and it’s gotten very hard to be who you are. It’s gotten very hard to be someone who has conservative values. Someone who believes in the right to choose, somebody who believes that it’s okay to stand up for righteousness. It is okay to stand up for righteousness.”

She would later add, “Any Disney cast members that are afraid to be bold, that are afraid to be courageous, stand up. It’s okay, you’re not alone.”

While dissenting voices to Disney’s Progressive agenda continues to grow, that hasn’t stopped the company from bending the knee to them.

In a video leaked by Manhattan Institute’s Christopher F. Rufo, Bob Chapek issued an apology to LGBTQ activists within Disney during the company’s “Reimagine Tomorrow” conference call. Chapek pleaded to the LGBTQ lobby by promising  to be “a better ally for the LGBTQ+ community and for not being the ally that you needed me to be.”

“I want you to know that your words have made a real impact on me,” he added. “I understand that we’ve made mistakes, and the pain of those mistakes have caused, and I know that our silence wasn’t just about the bill in Florida, but about every time an individual or institution that should’ve stood up for this community, did not,” he stated.

If employees opposed to Disney’s progressivism are to have ANY impact on the company’s future, they are going to need a much louder voice because Disney is not showing any signs of backing down from the demands of their LGBT lobby.
