Mark Hamill, Lena Headey, Sarah Michelle Gellar Part Of All Star Voice Cast For Netflix’s Masters Of The Universe: Revelation Series
Netflix and Mattel Television announced their star studded voice cast for the upcoming animated series Masters of the Universe: Revelation that includes Mark Hamill and Lena Heady.
The series is being described as a sequel series with Netflix detailing in a press release:
“Masters of the Universe: Revelation will focus on the unresolved storylines of the iconic characters, picking up where they left off decades ago.”

However, back in August 2019 when the show was initially announced at Power Con, it was expected to focus on Teela. Here’s how the show was initially promoted:
“A radical return to Eternia, REVELATION is a direct sequel series to the classic era of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. Featuring fan favorites He-Man, Orko, Cringer, and Man-At-Arms, the story pits our heroic warriors and guardians of Castle Grayskull against Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man and the vile legions of Snake Mountain!
But after a ferocious final battle forever fractures Eternia, it’s up to Teela to solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to prevent the end of the Universe! Her journey will uncover the secrets of Grayskull at last. This is the epic He-Man and the Masters of the Universe saga fans have waited 35 years to see!”
Batman: The Animated Series veteran and Star Wars icon Mark Hamill will play Skeletor with Game of Thrones veteran Lena Headey playing Evil-Lyn.
They will be joined by Chris Wood who will play Prince Adam and He-Man with Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor Sarah Michelle Gellar playing Teela.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation is being animated by Powerhouse Animation, the studio behind Netflix’s popular Castlevania series.
The series is being written by Marc Bernardin, Eric Carrasco, Diya Mishra, and Tim Sheridan.
Kevin Smith will be the showrunner and executive producer. He’s joined by Rob David, Adam Bonnett, and Christopher Keenan, who will also executive produce. Susan Corbin will also produce.
David described the show:
“Masters of the Universe: Revelation is for the fans. Kevin Smith, as well as the rest of the all-star cast, share our love and passion for the iconic franchise and the deeper meaning of the property. At its core, Masters of the Universe is all about wanting the power to be the best version of yourself, and the series will bring this message to life in an entirely new way.”
Smith added, “I cannot believe the lineup of talent I get to play with! The incredible, star-studded cast that Mattel’s Rob David and Netflix’s Ted Biaselli assembled for our Masters of the Universe series will let any lifelong He-Man fan know we’re treating this cartoon seriously and honoring the legendary world of Eternia with A-list talent! Chris, Sarah, Mark, Lena and the other amazing actors and actresses have given performances so powerful and real in a show that features a talking giant green tiger! With these fantastic performers behind our characters, it’ll be crazy easy to immerse yourself in the swords and sorcery of our epic sci-fi soap opera!”
While the show is being marketed now as a continuation, the press release from Netflix indicates it’s part of “Mattel’s reboot of the classic Masters of the Universe franchise.”
No release date for the show was announced.
