Sideshow Collectibles Unveils Boba Fett Statue
Now you might be thinking that isn’t Boba Fett. Who is this all-white Stormtrooper-esque Bounty Hunter?
However, this statue of Boba Fett is inspired by Ralph McQuarrie’s pre-production artwork for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Fett was originally designed as a super trooper combining characteristics from both the Stormtroopers and Darth Vader.
With the pre-production artwork in mind, this Boba Fett statue by Sideshow Collectibles is decked out in all-white armor and comes with two unique helmet designs. He is also seen leaping over a base inspired by Boba Fett’s ship Slave I.
The statue stands 18.5 inches high, 12 inches wide and 11 inches long. It weighs about 10 lbs, has a dimensional weight of 31 lbs and and an international dimensional weight of 43 lbs.
It is sculpted by Jeronimo Argerich. The molding and casting was done Simon Garcia and Chadwick Andersen. Finally, Bernardo Esquivel painted the statue.
The statue will run you around $464.67 including shipping and a non-refundable deposit required for pre-ordering.
