Brand New Alien: Covenant Photo Released!
Coming this May, the second installment of Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel trilogy will make it’s debut. Alien Covenant will follow mankind’s second encounter with the legendary creature. To the excitement of potential audiences, a five minute prologue was released. Now on Thursday a new photo was revealed to Empire magazine.
The new photo shows the crew making their way off their ship to explore a foreign world. Unlike previous photo releases, this one is a bit brighter and shows a larger world in which the movie will be talking place. This definitely gives us an idea of the scope and scale of the story.
Take a look at the trailer down below:
Directed by Ridely Scott, who also directed the original Alien film, Alien: Covenant is the sequel to Prometheus and is the second installment of the three film Alien prequel. With the other five films, Alien: Covenant will be one of the six films in the over all story arc. It is expected that there will be a direct connection between this film and Prometheus, but the extent of that connection has not been revealed.
