Sarah Robertson Promoted to Director of Sales at Dark Horse
Dark Horse has promoted Sarah Robertson to Director of Sales effective immediately. She will serve as the head of the Dark Horse Comics sales division. She will be responsible for business development, overseeing the in-house sales team, managing distributor and retailer relationships, sales forecasting, increasing department performance, and other key functions.
“Sarah has been an energetic, intelligent, and inspirational leader of the sales team,” said Dark Horse’s executive vice president, Neil Hankerson. “We are pleased that she accepted her new position as director of sales.”
Robertson started at Dark Horse Comics in 2008 as an account executive and was recently promoted to manager of sales in January 2013.
“I’m very happy to be continuing my time as part of the Dark Horse family with this new title,” said Robertson. “I have a wonderful team who have been beside me all the way and look forward to taking the department even further as director.”
She is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she received her bachelor of commerce degree with a major in global business management. In her free time, Robertson enjoys voice acting and has had roles in the video games Gone Home (2013), Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014), and Tacoma (2016).
