DC Comics Artist Joe Quinones Reveals Two Batgirl Redesigns
Artist Joe Quinones revealed two new Batgirl redesigns via Twitter as well as an unused cover as well as art for a Batgirl ’66 annual that never saw the light of day.
Quinones, has quickly become a veteran artist for DC Comics. He worked on Batman ’66 back in 2013 as well as [easyazon_link identifier=”1401251730″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Batman Eternal[/easyazon_link] in 2014. More recently, he’s working on [easyazon_link identifier=”140129443X” locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Dial H for Hero[/easyazon_link].
He revealed his redesigns for Batgirl commenting, “Something made me think about Batgirl, so here’s two oddball redesigns I did of her #batgirl #batman1989.”

Quinones would go on to reveal an unused variant cover colored by Jordan Gibson.

Quinones would clarify that his Batgirl 1989 would not be Alicia Silverstone, but instead indicated he would “cast” Christina Ricci.
