Hasbro And Nickelodeon To Introduce New Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Called Ninja Rangers And Turtle Rangers

Hasbro, Boom! Studios, IDW, and Nickelodeon are teaming up to introduce a new take on the Power Rangers and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the Ninja Rangers and the Turtle Rangers.

In the current ongoing miniseries Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, writer Ryan Parrott and artist Simone di Meo will introduce Zack, Kimberly, Jason, Trini, and Billy as the Ninja Rangers. Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo, and April O’Neil comprise the Turtle Rangers.

Not only will we get to see new incarnations of the Power Rangers and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but they will be facing off against Green Ranger Shredder.

Their first appearance will occur in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #4 where the Power Rangers will first fight and then team up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

With the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles becoming the Turtle Rangers some of them are wearing very different colors than what you might expect.

Donatello is the Black Ranger.

Raphael is the Red Ranger.

Michelangelo is the Yellow Ranger.

Leonardo is the Blue Ranger.

And April O’Neil is the Pink Ranger.

Here’s the official description from Boom! Studios:

“It’s the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as you’ve never seen them before vs Green Ranger Shredder! Will both teams be enough to stop the head of the Foot Clan as he wields the awesome power of the Dragon Shield and the Morphin Grid for evil? And what’s Rita Repulsa up to as the mighty battle rages on?”

Here’s a look at the Ninja Ranger designs by Simone di Meo.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #4 hits comic book stores on March 18, 2020. It will feature a main cover by Dan Mora, Turtle Ranger Helmet variant covers by Goñi Montes, and more.
