Titan Comics To Collect And Publish Original ‘Conan The Barbarian’ And ‘Savage Sword Of Conan’ Comics In Omnibus Editions

Titan Comics announced they will be collecting the original Conan the Barbarian comics by Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith in an upcoming omnibus edition.

As part of their March 2023 solicitations, Titan Comics detailed that they will collect Conan the Barbarian #1-26 (1970) and stories from Savage Tales #1 and #4 (1971) in Conan the Barbarian: The Original Comics Omnibus Vol. 1.

The official solicitation states, “This is the definitive collection of classic 1970s Conan the Barbarian. Created by the famous Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith, who introduced the sword and sorcery genre to comic books. Features high quality color restoration work, to make the strips feel as close to the original experience as possible.”

This hardcover edition is 7.25″ x 10.875″ and 776 pages in length. It will retail for $125.00 and goes on sale on June 14, 2023.

Not only is Titan collecting and publishing the original Conan the Barbarian comics, but they will also be collecting and publishing Roy Thomas, Barry Windsor-Smith, and John Buscema’s The Savage Sword of Conan books.

Similar to the Conan the Barbarian: The Original Comics Omnibus Vol. 1, The Savage Sword of Conan: The Original Comics Omnibus Vol. 1 will be a hardcover. It’s 7.25″ x 10.875″. It’s 968 pages in length and will retail for $150. It goes on sale on June 28, 2023.

The official solicitation reads, “The dark and gritty tales within are perfect for Conan fans looking for that extrabit of bloody violence! Featuring writing and art by the classic Conan the Barbarian team of Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith, with additional art by legend John Buscema!”

This book specifically collects Conan’s adventures in Savage Tales #1-5 (1971) and The Savage Sword of Conan #1-12 (1974).
