The Levon Cade series follows Levon Cade, a former Marine, who became a construction worker. Cade eventually becomes a mercenary and metes out vigilante justice. The first book [easyazon_link identifier=”1505727448″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Levon’s Trade[/easyazon_link] sees Cade hunt for a missing college student and uncover a vast criminal conspiracy.
Chuck spoke to us about his most recent book in the series, [easyazon_link identifier=”B079CPW4FM” locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Levon’s War[/easyazon_link], where Cade finds himself fighting ISIS terrorists in Mosul.
“He has his demons, but he’s never one to complain. He’s the original stoic warrior. There’s a stark contrast between Levon, the badass hunter/killer, and Levon, the loving father. He’s trying to raise his daughter and keep her safe from his past and the consequences of some of the decisions he’s made as a civilian. The two have their share of adventures together and I think Merry is a whole lot tougher than her daddy thinks she is. The apple did not fall far from the tree.”
Dixon’s Levon Cade series isn’t the only thing Sylvester Stallone will be working on. Deadline indicates he will also be working on movie adaptations of James Byron Huggins’ [easyazon_link identifier=”B07C1LCGWX” locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Hunter[/easyazon_link] and Michael McGowan and Ralph Pezzullo’s [easyazon_link identifier=”B07BFBZ1WC” locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Ghost: My Thirty Years as an FBI Undercover Agent[/easyazon_link]. He will also star in a film called Samaritan that will be written by Bragi Schut. Samaritan is supposed to be a new, dark take on the superhero genre. He is also expected to work on a film written by retired Army Ranger Max Adams.
Stallone’s film projects are part of Balboa Productions’ deal with Chinese financier Starlight Cultural Entertainment.
Hunter is about Nathaniel Hunter who is an expert tracker who has to hunt down a terror that is half raging beast and half human that threatens to destroy civilization.
Ghost: My Thirty Years as an FBI Undercover Agent is a memoir from Michael McGowan and documents the more than 50 undercover cases he worked on. The film is currently looking for a writer.
Stallone will also be working with his Balboa Productions partner and producer Braden Aftergood on a television series based on [easyazon_link identifier=”0983854246″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Second Son[/easyazon_link] by novelist Charles Sailor. That series will be written by Rob Williams.
The first film from Balboa Productions will be about Jack Johnson, the first African American heavyweight champion. Johnson was recently pardoned by President Donald Trump.
Stallone will also star in Creed 2 which comes out on November 21. He is currently filming Rambo V.
