Final Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw Trailer Released – Watch it Now!
NBC Universal released the final trailer for Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jason Statham, and Idris Elba.
Take a look.
The Rock also dropped the trailer on his Instagram. He added:
“Here we go! I deliver to you guys around the world, the brand new Hobbs & Shaw trailer #3. As you guys know this is the very first spin-off for the Fast & Furious franchise. It’s a movie I’m proudly producing. I wanted to create a movie that aws so bombastic. That was so crazy bananas. That was so insanely fun that it created a must-see event around the world on August 2nd. I also wanted to make sure that we paid homage and respect to the fabric of Fast & Furious which is that all important ‘F’ word that we love to say, “Family.” And in this one I have my real blood family in it. So this one’s personal.”
The release of the trailer confirms my predictions that a new trailer would be released to coincide with the ability to purchase tickets for the upcoming high adrenaline action flick.
Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw is the first spin-off film from the Fast & Furious franchise. However, it not only has a star-studded cast, but also features top talent off screen including director David Leitch and Fast & Furious architect Chris Morgan.
Here’s the official description of the film:
“Ever since hulking lawman Hobbs (Johnson), a loyal agent of America’s Diplomatic Security Service, and lawless outcast Shaw (Statham), a former British military elite operative, first faced off in 2015’s Furious 7, the duo have swapped smack talk and body blows as they’ve tried to take each other down.
But when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever — and bests a brilliant and fearless rogue MI6 agent (The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby), who just happens to be Shaw’s sister — these two sworn enemies will have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves.”
My source revealed that first showings for the film will begin at 7 pm on Thursday, August 1st. The film is expected to have a runtime of around 133 minutes.
Along with The Rock, Statham, and Elba, the film also features Vanessa Kirby, Helen Mirren, and WWE superstar Roman Reigns.
What do you make of the new trailer? Do you plan on seeing it in theaters?
