New Spider-Man Marvel Cinematic Universe Suit Teased
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man might be getting a new suit sooner rather than later. While we’ve seen the Iron Spider suit in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer, a new suit was revealed promoting three new Marvel Studios and Marvel Themed Entertainment parks at Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland.
Here’s a look at the new Spider-Man suit:
It’s a take on the classic Spider-Man suit from the comics.
As you can see the new suit has a much larger Spider on Spider-Man’s chest. His boots are much bigger with the red going all the way up to his shins. It also appears he will have a belt.
Along with the new Spider-Man poster, Walt Disney parks revealed two other posters which show a number of Marvel’s other superheroes wearing their iconic Marvel Cinematic Universe outfits.
You can see Ant-Man, the Wasp, Captain America, and even Hawkeye in their new suits. Although Ant-Man’s looks a little different than what we saw in both Ant-Man and Civil War.
We also see Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk. Interestingly, Thor has Mjolnir, but he also appears to be extremely armored out with almost what looks like chain mail pants.
It’s possible this new Spider-Man suit could be just a generic design to promote the park, but given the other characters also have Marvel Cinematic Universe designs, it’s more than likely we might see this new Spider-Man design show up in Avengers: Infinity War or even in the Spider-Man sequel.
As for the actual Disney Parks attractions, Disneyland Resort, which is part of Disney California Adventure park aims to open the new Super Hero-themed land in 2020. The “completely immersive Super Hero universe” will feature the popular Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout. It will also include Spider-Man and Avengers-centric attractions.
In Disneyland Paris a reimagined attraction where guests will team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers on a “hyper-kinetic adventure.” This attraction plans to open in 2020 as well.
Hong Kong Disneyland will feature a new attraction where guests team up with Ant-Man and the Wasp. It will join the Iron Man Experience which opened last year.
What do you think about the new Spider-Man suit? Do you think we will see Tom Holland sporting it on the big screen or is just a design to promote the new park?
