Paramount Releases First Official Look at Linda Hamilton’s Return to Sarah Connor in Terminator!
Paramount Pictures released the first picture of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor for the upcoming Terminator film that is being directed by Deadpool’s Tim Miller.
Not only do we get our first look at Hamilton as Sarah Connor, but we also get to see Natalia Reyes and Mackenzie Davis. Reyes is playing a character named Dani Ramos and it’s unclear who Davis is playing.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor. A leaked photo from the set showed her in very similar garb to this official release.
The film is being produced by Terminator creator James Cameron and David Ellison. Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to reprise his role as the Terminator.
James Cameron talked about how he and Tim Miller brought in Linda Hamilton, Cameron’s ex-wife, into reprising her role. Cameron joked, “It took me a week just to get up the nerve.” Miller chimed in, “Jim was f****** terrified.” Cameron continued, “It took me a week just to get up the nerve. No, that’s not true. Linda and I have a great relationship.”
Cameron then went into detail:
“I called her up, and I said: ‘Look, we could rest on our laurels. It’s ours to lose, in a sense. We created this thing several decades ago. But, here’s what can be really cool. You can come back and show everybody how it’s done … Because in my mind, it hasn’t been done a whole lot since the way she did it back in ’91.
Make a huge f****** statement to have her be the really seasoned warrior that she’s become … There are certainly plenty of 50-, 60-, 70-something guys out there that just keep cranking along doing action movies and killing bad guys left and right. But there isn’t an example of that for women, and I think there should be.”
With Linda Hamilton on board, James Cameron is hoping to put Terminator back in the mainstream. Last July, he talked about creating a Terminator trilogy with David Ellison, “Right now we are leaning toward doing a three-film arc and reinventing it.”
While Hamilton and Schwarzenegger are on board for this as yet untitled Termiantor project, Cameron is hoping this first film will be able to pass the baton to new characters he plans on introducing.
What do you think of this new official first look? Are you excited for the new Terminator film?
