When Can You Purchase Terminator: Dark Fate Tickets?
Terminator: Dark Fate starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, and Gabriel Luna is just around the corner.
My source just sent me information on when tickets for the film will be available for purchase as well as the film’s run time and when early showings will happen.
Terminator: Dark Fate tickets will go on sale on October 4. There will be digital assets accompanying the first day of ticket sales. It’s possible this could be a new poster or trailer. However, my source did not provide details on the digital assets.
There will be early show times for Terminator: Dark Fate beginning on October 31st at 7 PM local time. It will be officially released on November 1st.
The film’s run time will be 128 minutes and it has an R-rating.
Terminator: Dark Fate sees the return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor in a film that takes place following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Edward Furlong is also expected to reprise his role as John Connor.
Arnold Schwarzenegger recently commented on what it was like working on the film and what fans can expect:
“I just tell them, ‘It’s another Terminator movie with a totally different story and it has Jim Cameron’s fingerprints all over it. Also, Linda Hamilton’s’. So, it’s kind of like going back to the old days of ‘Terminator.'”
Schwarzenegger added, “And it has more action in it than any of the other ‘Terminators’ have ever had. More unique action. And the visual effects are unlike anything you’ve ever seen.”
Long range box office predictions from Box Office Pro predict the film will earn between $35 million and $45 million in its opening weekend at the domestic box office. However, they expect the film to do really well overseas citing Cameron’s produced Alita: Battle Angel.
The prediction fits in line with how the series has performed in the past. Terminator 2: Judgment Day had a $31.7 million opening and went on to earn $204.8 million at the domestic box office. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines opened at $44 million and topped out at $150.3 million. The last installment Genisys opened at $27 million, but only earned $89.7 million. It was the worst performing Terminator film if you adjust for inflation.
