Netflix Drops New Teaser for Altered Carbon Season 2 Starring Anthony Mackie as Takeshi Kovacs
Netflix just dropped their first teaser for Altered Carbon Season 2 starring Anthony Mackie as Takeshi Kovacs. He takes over the role from Joel Kinnaman, who played the character in Season 1.
The show, based off Richard K. Morgan’s novel, introduces the idea that individuals can be put in different sleeves or bodies, allowing for different actors to play the part.

Along with the teaser trailer, Netflix also revealed the second season will be available to stream on the platform on February 27, 2020.
The second season of the show will also star Lela Loren as Danica Harlan. She is the governor of Harlan’s World. Mackie and Loren will also be joined by Simone Missick as the bounty hunter Trepp, James Saito as a centuries-old crime boss Tanaseda Hideka, and Dina Shihabi as the artificial intelligence DIG 301.
The series sees the return of Chris Conner as Al Poe and Renee Elise Goldsberry as Kovac’s love Quellcrist Falconer.

The first season was well received by fans. On Rotten Tomatoes the the show has a 90% audience score.
It has a similar score on Metacritic with an 8.7 User Score.
On IMDB, it has an 8.1 weighted user score.
