Academy Award-Winning Actor Jon Voight Weighs In On The Current State Of The World, Asserts The Power Of God Will Bring Back “Light, Justice, And Morals”
Hollywood actor Jon Voight recently weighed in on the current state of the world, noting how its morals have been declining lately, and asserting that the power of God will bring back “light, justice, and morals.”
In a short video clip posted on his personal Twitter account, the Mission: Impossible actor said that our world “is now a world in turmoil,” adding, “a world of deceit and lies.”
“It’s a world that has also lost the morals of what once was of goodness, of peace, and greatness. The Land of the Free. But now our children are learning negativity,” the Academy Award-winning actor continued.
He went on, “Our streets are filled with criminals, who are robbing innocent people, stealing. It is a world that has been turned upside down with injustice. But not for long.”
A devout Catholic, Jon Voight went on to explain why it is important to hold onto one’s faith in God, asserting that His power will positively affect our world and its people.
“The power of God is greater than Man,” Voight professed. “He shall bring back the light, the justice, the morals so our children can be children and our streets can be safe.”
The renowned actor continued, “Where one can wear what they want without being robbed. Our life is precious. Our dreams are real; our love, our faith, our hope, our future. Our moments are a gift.”
“Let us pray that He will show us all who’s the true force. He, the power of God, the power of Man’s truths, the power of Good over Evil. Much love to you,” Voight concluded his optimistic message of hope for the world.

Voight is very open about his faith, and has often told the story of how he became a man of God. In an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, the actor told the news host about the religious experience he had during a low point in his life.
“I was in a lot of trouble at one point,” Voight told Carlson. “Had a divorce, had some problems, and I was in this little house that I had and I was really suffering. For many reasons. My career was a little bit in flux at that time and lots of things were going on [like] my relationship to my kids and wife.”
The actor then recalled his religious experience, saying, “I was on the floor… I found myself on the floor saying, ‘It’s so difficult.’ I said it out loud, and I heard in my ear, ‘It’s supposed to be difficult.’ Can you imagine?”
“A voice of wisdom, kindness, and clarity. It had so much resonance, this voice,” Voight said, adding that it was at that moment when he realised that this message he heard meant he was not alone.
He elaborated, “I got up and at that time I knew what [the message] meant was, ‘I’m not alone. Everything is known. I am known’ that’s what it meant to me.”
Addressing Voight’s story, Carlson then asked the actor what the implications of his religious experience were, to which the Academy Award winner said, “Well, I had to straighten out. If I’m going to be a vessel for God I better be cleaner than I was; be a righteous fellow.”
