“My ladies at home, I know that if you’re listening to this podcast, you’re probably not the type of lady that will laugh enthusiastically if you’re with a man and he starts to make very tired gender jokes about responsibilities and duties,” said the actress in a recent episode of her eponymously named podcast.

She continued, “And, even like, the f—ing tired bit that he’s doing which is like, ‘She runs the show. I occasionally open a bag of pickles,’ but that’s how f—ing dumb what he said is.”

“You are a Marvel superhero,” the has-been actress addressed Pratt directly. “You made 480 million dollars last year. You worked non-stop. You don’t just open a f—ing jar of pickles, you motherf—er who’s trying to, like, somehow, I don’t know, like I hate. I hate it so much.”

Philipps then brought Pratt’s son Jack into the mix, touching on the fact that he was allegedly excluded from the Instagram post because unlike the Marvel star’s new daughter, was not a healthy baby.

“I just think it’s nuts, and I think you need to be really careful when you’re putting things out there into this universe that, like, it just exists,” said the actress. “Like, that post will continue to exist, and some day when that little boy grows up and, like, Googles himself, he’s going to see that, you know, a lot of people read this thing and read into it that his dad had excluded him from this, you know, just idyllic-sounding post about how much he loved his new family.”

Pratt’s Instagram post was inoffensive, but the woke cancel culture mob was quick to take offence at pretty much everything he had to say, as well as the things he didn’t say.

The woke mob took issue with Pratt’s comments about his daughter with Schwarzenegger, who he described as a “gorgeous healthy daughter” and for not mentioning his son Jack, who in 2012 was born two months premature and with a series of health complications.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor wrote last week, “Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love!”

“She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade. Her heart is pure and it belongs to me,” he continued. “My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which if you know, you know is saying a lot. It’s her birthday in about 6 weeks. So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back on this post. Love you honey.”

In the wake of the backlash, Pratt took to social media to reveal that though the experience had dampened his spirits, stating that he “went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed”, he had managed to find comfort in his Christian faith.

“I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed, and I woke up feeling crappy and I didn’t want to work out,” admitted the The Tomorrow War star. “I knew though that if I put on my Christian music playlist and I got out of the woods and ran that I’d feel better but I just didn’t want to. And I did it anyways and gosh was I right. It felt amazing.”

Thanking God for making him feel better the morning after the ‘controversial’ Instagram post, Pratt simply added, “So I just want to say all glory to God. And if you feel down today maybe get [some] exercise and maybe listen to some good worship music or get the word in, because it really helped me this morning.”
