Alterna Comics is celebrating their 10th Anniversary this year and to commemorate it, they are launching a KickStarter!

The KickStarter which has a goal of $3,500 is for the creation of not one book, but two books. Those two books include a 40 page full color character guide and the Alterna AnniverSeries Anthology.

AlternaCharacterGuide

The character guide book will be very similar to the trading cards from 90s with all of the cool character information on the back. Instead of trading card size, it will be in comic book size. It will also include a regular cover and a blank variant cover.

The Alterna AnniverSeries Anthology includes Alterna’s best stories from the past ten years some of which have never seen print before. It will be 200 pages in length with stories about space-traveling children, swash-buckling sky pirates, World War II era zombies, sadistic prison guards, an alien with an identity crisis, and more. There is even a stretch goal to double the size of the anthology to 400 pages!

The initial goal of $3500 will will cover the print runs of the full color character guide and the a black and white anthology, shipping, and KickStarter fees.
