The CW Reveals Crossover Dates For ‘Supergirl,’ ‘Arrow,’ ‘Legends,’ And ‘The Flash’

The CW released crossover dates for their four flagship DC Comics-inspired television shows which include Supergirl, Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and The Flash.

CW President Mark Pedowitz made the announcement at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. The crossover starts flying high with Supergirl on Monday, November 27. It will then move to Arrow which will also take place on Monday night moving from its normal time on Thursday for the crossover. It will then continue on Tuesday, November 28th with The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

The CW is hoping to once again rekindle the magic they had last year with the “Invasion” crossover event that saw the alien race of Dominators launch an invasion of Earth. It took the Legends, Team Arrow, Team Flash, and Supergirl to stop them. However, the crossover did not include an actual episode of Supergirl.

“Last year’s crossover was the most successful week, I believe, in CW history,” noted Pedowitz. He then explained why they chose to move Arrow to the Monday time slot. “We felt that in this particular case we already had ‘Flash’ and ‘Legends’ paired. It would be better and tighter to do it like a two, two-hour mini series.” He also noted they will be including the actual Supergirl show in this crossover. “It’s a full, four-episode crossover.”

Details on what the crossover event could be are still mum. With the recent trend towards more lesser known characters and villains being included in the show its possible they might dip back into the DC vault to put a new spin on a long-forgotten villain. One possible villain could be The Reach.

The Reach are originally the alien species that created the beetle scarabs. They use the scarabs to gather data from various different worlds. They then use that data to take over the worlds. They usually do it by attempting to be friendly while enacting a number of nefarious schemes behind-the-scenes. It would be a good opportunity to introduce Blue Beetle to the Arrowverse as well!
