A brand new Justice League clip aired on Spanish television showcasing an extended look at the Justice League fighting against Steppenwolf.

The clip starts off with Steppenwolf telling Diana, The Old Gods died. This could be a huge reference to the flashback sequence seen in previous clips where they show what appears to be an Olympian or the Wizard Shazam fighting Steppenwolf and his parademon army. Based off this recent footage, it’s more than likely it is Zeus rather than the wizard Shazam.

The dialogue is key to DC mythology because Steppenwolf is one of the New Gods of Apokolips. Justice League seems to be keying in on this, by saying the old Greek Gods such as Zeus and Ares are dead, but it might also be a small slight at Marvel given how their big blockbuster is an old Norse god in Thor. It would make sense that he’s referring to the old Greek Gods because in Wonder Woman, Ares appears to be the last of the Old Gods left living.

There are some intense action sequences with Wonder Woman taking Steppenwolf on one on one. However, the best part might be Barry Allen getting carried off by a number of parademons. There are also shots of Batman taking down a parademon and Cyborg zooming in to take over the Batmobile. The only Leaguer missing appears to be Aquaman.
