Mazouz confirms that Jerome is not the Joker, but he is the inspiration for him. And then he goes on to reveal the Joker will arrive on Gotham.

“He’s not the Joker. That’s all I’ll say. He definitely is the inspiration for the Joker. The way the Joker comes into the show in my opinion is one of the most brilliant things Gotham has ever done.”

If Mazouz’s confirmation wasn’t enough Cameron Monaghan, who plays Jerome, also hinted the Joker will be coming to the show.

Not only did Mazouz confirm Joker’s appearance on Gotham he also revealed his proto-Batsuit will be getting some upgrades. “When the suit comes back, you’ll be seeing upgrades until we get the actual Batsuit with the bat on his chest. The suit is never really finished until that point…with every time he wears the suit essentially from this point on there’s going to be an upgrade from either by Bruce, Lucius, or Alfred.”

David Mazouz also talks about Cameron Monaghan’s tease of a massive villains team-up. Mazouz says, “That basically is the second half of Season 4. Essentially all of the villains on the show, or all the terrifying ones at least, will team up and it will basically be the Justice League of Gotham villains. They are basically going to terrorize the city for the next 11 episodes. All of the good guys, not necessarily come together, but all of the good guys are going to have a part in taking them down because there are just so many of them. Of course it’s spearheaded by the man who posted it himself, Jerome. But everybody is involved somehow in this massive, massive fight against this band of villains.”

Are you excited to see the Joker arrive on Gotham?
