The Untitled Deadpool Sequel is heading back to Canada to do some reshoots. And as is typical with everything about this movie, it’s got Deadpool’s trademark humor attached. The new working title for the reshoots is “Daisy.”

Daisy marks the third working title for the film. The previous two working titles were “Love Machine” and “Caribbean Blue.” “Love Machine” is a reference to a song by the Miracles. Caribbean Blue is another song title used by Enya and Big Mountain.

It’s unclear what “Daisy” could be a reference to. However, if it’s in the same vein as the previous two. It’s possible it could be a song reference. In fact, Omega Underground speculates the “Daisy” title could reference 2001: A Space Odyssey. In the film, Hal sings “Daisy.”

However, unlike the previous two working title. The speculation goes on to include the reshoots might actually unveil a major plot point for the Untitled Deadpool Sequel or maybe even a reference to the next Deadpool film. However, given that the other two working titles are just for laughs, it’s more than likely this is too. I don’t expect any Sentinels to show up and the film’s first two trailers hasn’t hinted at them at all.

The reshoots are typical and many films undergo them. I don’t think this will be like the Justice League reshoots at all. It’s more than likely, the reshoots will be used to fill gaps found in the editing process. But what they could be really used for is giving us a post-credit scene that ties Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney and Fox announced a new deal where Fox’s movie production would be housed in Disney. While the deal is still not finalized, it’s more than likely it could set up the planned X-Force film.

So what do you think? Could the new working title for the Untitled Deadpool Sequel be a hint at a key plot point? Or could it be just paying homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Finally, what do you think the re-shoots will add to the movie? I hope we get an awesome post-credit scene where Deadpool gives Peter Parker a good socking!

The Untitled Deadpool Sequel comes to theaters May 18th 2018.
