A stuntman died on the set of Deadpool 2 after a motorcycle stunt went horribly wrong.

According to TMZ. the female stuntman went airborne and crashed through the glass floor of the studio inside Shaw Tower near Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver.

Witnesses told TMZ that the unnamed stuntman did not apply the brakes. ComicBook.com believes the stuntman could have been a double for Zazie Beetz’s Domino. Recent photos showed Beetz’s Domino on a motorcycle while Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool cruised through town on a scooter.

Police cordoned off the area and are currently conducting an investigation. An ambulance arrived and took the stuntman to a nearby hospital.

This latest incident occurs just hours after Tom Cruise injured himself on the set of Mission: Impossible 6. It also comes after the death of The Walking Dead stuntman John Bernecker earlier this summer. Bernecker died after falling off a balcony while taping Season 8 of the zombie survival show.

Deadpool 2 is expected to arrive in theaters on June 1, 2018. However, it’s possible taping might be suspended and delay production. The Walking Dead suspended production following John Bernecker’s death.
