Smallville star Allison Mack, who played Chloe Sullivan, was arrested due to her involvement with the alleged sex cult known as NXIVM.

According to Page Six of the New York Post, the former Smallville actress has been arrested for her role in the alleged sex cult. The cult has been accused branding their members, forcing their members to perform sexual acts, and providing evidence to be used in potential blackmail against them.

A few weeks ago it was reported that cult leader Keith Raniere was arrest by Mexican federal police where members of the group had been holding out. Mack was last seen allegedly chasing down the Mexican police after they arrested Raniere. Raniere was extradited to the United States where he was charged.

The Albany Times Union reports Raniere was charged with “sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit forced labor.” He’s currently being held in a federal prison in Oklahoma City without bond. He is expected to appear in the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn where his case is pending.

In the federal complaint against Raniere, Allison Mack is listed as “Co-Conspirator 1.” The complaint alleges Mack recruited an unnamed actress to the sex cult. She forced the actress to provide collateral which involved “letters detailing false and highly damning accusations against her family members. The actress was also forced to give up her credit card numbers to Mack.  She was also required to remain celibate for six months and travel to Halfmoon every week. Halfmoon is a townhouse which Raniere turned into his sex lair. On one trip to Halfmoon, the actress was told to remove her clothing, place a blindfold over eyes, and drive around in a car with Raniere. He then took her to a shack in the woods where she was tied down and forced into acts with an unknown man. The authorities report Raniere continued sexual contact with the actress for months following the incident described above.

They add that Raniere had a “rotating group of 15 to 20 women with whom he maintains sexual relationships.” The complaint added, “These women are not permitted to have sexual relationships with anyone but Raniere or to discuss with others their relationships with Raniere.”

The complaint also alleges that Mack was Raniere’s direct “slave. ” The two allegedly had a sexual relationship. And while she was Raniere’s direct slave she also acted as “master” to the other slaves.

Mack also allegedly would lure women into a smaller sect of NXIVM known as “The Vow.” She did this by claiming it was a “Women’s mentorship group.” She would get these women to provide embarrassing photos and statements in order to use as blackmail.

These arrests follow a year of Hollywood sexual abuse scandals beginning with Harvey Weinstein and launching the #MeToo movement.

Mack is expected to appear in a Brooklyn federal court on Friday.
