New Wonder Woman 1984 Set Video Shows off Wonder Woman’s Insane Speed!

Wonder Woman

A new set video from Wonder Woman 1984 shows either Gal Gadot or her stunt double blazing a path down Pennsylvania Avenue as cars appear wrecked and destroyed as she runs past. It definitely looks like Wonder Woman is either pursuing someone or rushing to the epicenter of the disturbance. Barry Allen and Superman better watch out, Wonder Woman might try and claim the title as the fastest superhero in the DC Universe.

Take a look:

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Wonder Woman’s blazing speed. In Justice League, Wonder Woman showed off her insanely fast reflexes and speed when she prevented a psychopath from killing a number of innocents and blowing up four city blocks.

The disturbance that Wonder Woman might be rushing to might just be a full blown riot. Another user captured another set video from Wonder Woman 1984, in which there appears to be a riot taking place within the nation’s capital.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we get to see much more of Wonder Woman’s superhero abilities on display in Wonder Woman 1984. Director Patty Jenkins expressed her excitement about Wonder Woman’s abilities saying, “The most exciting thing about [the sequel] is literally seeing her loose in the world now, living those classic stories. Here’s Wonder Woman, and what can she do?”

As to what the cause of the riot could be, it’s anyone’s guess, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah was involved in some manner. It’s possible she might have created the riot as a distraction to rob something for the Soviet Union given the 1980s setting. Or she could be attempting to steal some kind of artifact to enhance her powers. It’s also quite possible she could be stealing an artifact that grants her the powers of Cheetah during the riot.

Are you excited for Wonder Woman 1984? What do you think Wonder Woman is running to? What do you think the riot is about?

Wonder Woman 1984 is expected to hit theaters on November 1, 2019.
