On Saturday, Electronic Arts Star Wars released their first trailer for [easyazon_link identifier=”B07DJX3W29″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order[/easyazon_link] revealing the protagonist of the series is Cal Kestis. He happens to be white, and a number of fans weren’t taking it too kindly.

Here’s what a number of fans were saying about Cal Kestis:

Here’s the official description for the game:

“Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action-adventure game set after Star Wars: Episode III โ€” Revenge of the Sithโ„ข. Develop your Force abilities, hone your lightsaber techniques, and explore the ancient mysteries of a long-lost civilizationโ€”all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.”

The Inquisitor who is hunting Cal Kestis is actually the Second Sister, who was introduced in Charles Soule’s recent [easyazon_link identifier=”1302907441″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Darth Vader[/easyazon_link] comic book series.

Cal will not be the only Jedi in the game. As seen in the trailer, a Jedi Knight named Cere will also be in the game and appears to help Cal as he tries to avoid the Empire’s Purge Troopers and the Second Sister.

The game will not feature multiplayer or microtransactions as confirmed by Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella, “No multiplayer, no microtransactions, it’s a story game.

This would be confirmed by DICE’s Ben Walke:
