Actress Regina King revealed a first look at her character for the upcoming HBO show Watchmen.

King captioned the photo writing, “This fall…A reckoning is coming.”

King didn’t provide any other details. However, she did share the new trailer in a previous tweet writing, “I can’t front….I’m excited…tick…tock..tick…tock.”

Variety reported King would star as the protagonist alongside actor Don Johnson. IMDB indicates King’s character is named Angela Abar.

The show comes from creator Damon Lindelof and is expected to be a modern day reimagining of the iconic comic book series. However, Lindelof did indicate that this show will be the New Testament to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ Old Testament. The way he described the show is that it will be a spiritual sequel to Watchmen set in current times and dealing with political figures like Donald Trump, Theresa May, and Vladimir Putin.

Alongside King and Johnson, the show will star Jeremy Irons as Adrian Veidt, Tim Blake Nelson as Looking Glass, Louis Gossett Jr., Frances Fisher as Jane Crawford, Adelaide Clemens as Pirate Jenny, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Cal Abraham, and Andrew Howard as Red Scare.

The show is expected to hit HBO sometime this Fall.
