Cosplay of the Day: Adami Langley as Dragon Ball’s Bulma

Today’s cosplay of the day is cosplayer Adami Langley as Dragon Ball’s Bulma.
Langley showed off her Bulma cosplay on Instagram last Easter.
Langley captioned the photo, “Bunny Bulma <3.” She added, “I was very happy because my friend give me one figure of her. <3”

Bulma first debuted in the Dragon Ball Manga in “Bloomers and the Monkey King.” She would debut in the anime on the episode titled, “The Secret of the Dragon Balls,” and her movie debut was in Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies.
She is the daughter of Capsule Corporation’s founder Dr. Brief and his wife Panchy. She is a brilliant scientist and is Goku’s first friend. She would evolve over the course of the story. SHe originally dated Yamcha, but would eventually fall for Vegeta and become his wife. She would also give birth to Trunks and Bulla.
Bulma might not be able to take on Frieza or a number of the powerful beings in the Dragon Ball universe, but she is instrumental in using her brain and her creations to help her friends overcome the odds. She provides both Goku and Vegeta with a gravity chamber that allows them to push their physical limits and become stronger. She was also the inventor of the Dragon Radar which allows her to locate all of the Dragon Balls and summon the dragon Shenron. She is even able to modify a Saiyan “scouter” device so power levels can be read in Earth figures rather than Saiyan ones.
The Bunny costume worn by Adami Langley first appeared in the manga titled “Onward to Fry-Pan.” It would appear in the anime episode titled “Keep an Eye on the Dragon Balls” during the Emperor Pilaf Saga. Bulma is forced to wear the bunny costume because it was the only outfit Oolong had in stock at the time.
Bulma is voiced by Hiromi Tsuru in nearly all of Dragon Ball media. Aya Hisakawa voices Bulma in Broly.
English voice actors for Bulma include Wendee Lee on the Harmony Gold dub, Lalainia Lindbjerg, Maggie Blue O’Hara, and France Perras on the Ocean Group dubs, Lesli Alexander, Tiffany Vollmer and Monica Rial voice Bulman on the Funimation dub, Leda Davies voices her in the Blue Water dub, Sharon Mann gives voice to Bulma on the AB Groupe dub, Wendee Lee also voices Bulma on the Bang Zoom! dub, and Mitch Frankenberger Pellicer voices Bulma on the Creative Products Corporation dub.
