New Rumor Reveals Horrific Ending for CBS’ Star Trek: Picard Series Starring Patrick Stewart

A new rumor indicates that CBS’s Star Trek: Picard series will see a horrific ending for Patrick Stewart’s Jean Luc Picard.

This new rumor indicates that CBS will kill Patrick Stewart’s Jean Luc Picard in their upcoming Star Trek: Picard show, but will keep his legacy alive by naming a ship after him.

The rumor comes from YouTuber Doomcock. He describes the details of the rumor as a “cinematic colonoscopy.” He goes on to say this is something “only a supervillain could make it up and an idiot could write it.”

Doomcock then dives into the rumor, “Oh hell yes they are going to kill Picard.” He adds, “Picard is the only reason anyone would ever watch this s***. But here comes the part that will make fans heads explode. The worst part you can imagine. Are you ready gang? Get this. There will be a Season 2 of Star Trek: Picard.” He elaborates, “They do that because Patrick Stewart costs too much money, dude. They are bleeding money at CBS. And there is no way with the anemic ratings and the subscriber money they are getting on CBS All Access that they can afford Sir Patrick for another season.”

He continues, “They are going to kill Picard. And his ragtag crew of attractive and marketable ragamuffins will miss him b******* about his daggum lombego so much, they will name their stolen star ship U.S.S. Picard. And they will have more adventures aboard the U.S.S. Picard in Season 2. Boldly going where lots of fashion models have gone before.”

Doomcock leaves viewers with this final thought, “So think about it, Harvey. Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise. All the latter Trek series have been named after the vessels on the show. So why would they name the show after a guy? No, the gimmick if this show is by the end of the series Picard will be a ship, not a person.”

In the comments section Doomcock added:

“Addendum: when this came to me, it made me ill. I made this video HOPING that IF they’re going this route, the horrible outcry would dissuade them from this disastrous course and spare us this spectacle. Only time will tell, but I fear this outcome greatly.”

Doomcok is right with his final thought. With the exception of Star Trek and Star Trek: The Next Generation, every series has been named after a ship or station. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, and Discovery. All are ships or space stations. And Seeing how CBS has played it very safe over the years it stands to reason that Star Trek: Picard will follow this pattern.

What do you make of this rumor? Does it make sense, and do you really believe this is a step that CBS is willing to take with fans? If this comes to pass and DoomCock is correct, then how do you believe Trekkies will take it?
