Fairy Tail Reveals Its Most Popular Character After Fan Poll
The Fairy Tail anime’s official Twitter account revealed the show’s most popular characters following a fan poll.
The popular anime recently wrapped up its third season in 10 years in September. The first episode of the anime aired on October 12, 2009. The show finished it’s third season on September 29, 2019. It aired a total of 328 episodes.
To celebrate the show’s 10 year anniversary they announced they would have a character general election to determine which character is the most popular among fans.

Voting for the popularity contest ended on November 4th in Japan and the results were recently announced at the beginning of December.

The top six most popular characters were:
1. Natsu Dragneel
2. Erza Scarlet
3. Lucy Heartfilia
4. Gray Fullbuster
5. Juvia Lockser
6. Wendy Marvell

They also revealed characters who only received a singular vote.
Those characters included Master Zero, Totomaru, Erigor, Kyouka, Jackal, Imitatia, Yajima, Mest, Sorano, Mary Huse, Mato-kun, and Kinana.

While the anime wrapped up its third and final season, the story continues in creator Hiro Mashima’s new HERO’S Manga which combines his worlds of Fairy Tail, Rave, and Edens Zero.
