Artist Spdrmnkyxxiii imagined Macaulay Culkin as DC Comics’ Joker in a possible sequel to Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s upcoming Batman film.

Spdrmnkyxxiii writes, “Macaulay Culkin could possibly make an Amazing joker opposite Robert Pattinson’s Batman.”

Take a look at Macaulay Culkin as Joker.

Culkin recently joined the cast of American Horror Story for Season 10 along with Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters.

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy made the casting announcements in an Instagram video.

Culkin does appear to be getting back into acting. He recently appeared in Dollface as Dan Hackett and starred in Changeland as Ian.

He spoke about his love for acting with Esquire Magazine, “No, it’s true. It’s just—I enjoy acting. I enjoy being on set.”

However, he notes he doesn’t enjoy some of the other things that come with acting:

“I don’t enjoy a lot of the other things that come around it. What’s a good analogy. The Shawshank Redemption. The way he gets out of prison is to crawl through a tube of shit, you know? It feels like to get to that kind of freedom, I’d have to crawl through a tube of shit. And you know what? I’ve built a really nice prison for myself. It’s soft. It’s sweet. It smells nice. You know? It’s plush.”

He specifically took issue with press junkets and film promotion, “Doing junkets and things—that stuff always drove me crazy.”

Would you want to see Macaulay Culkin play Joker in a possible sequel to The Batman? What do you make of Spdrmnkyxxiii’s mock up of Culkin as Joker? Are there any other characters you think Culkin would be good at?
