New video from the set of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier shows the new Captain America and Winter Soldier appearing to team up in a fight scene.

Multiple videos of the scene have surfaced. It appears to be some kind of rescue mission.

A video shows two armored vehicles blocking off a section of the road. Then we see an explosion.

In a separate scene from the same location, you can see the armored cars in the background as Bucky Barnes fights someone. It’s unclear who he is fighting.

However, the best video shows the new Captain America taking on multiple opponents as Bucky Barnes rescues people who appeared to have been held inside one of the armored vehicles.

That new Captain America is more than likely John Walker portrayed by Wyatt Russell. At the end of February, in-universe promotional posters for the U.S. Army show Russell’s Walker as Captain America and read: “John Walker Cap is Back.”

It’s unlikely that John Walker will remain Captain America by the end of the show. Anthony Mackie who plays Sam Wilson aka The Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe recently confirmed Sam Wilson would become Captain America.

Mackie stated, “And, with the idea of being a black man and becoming Captain America, it’s been a daunting task because I think, at this day and age in America, I think we are open-minded to the idea of having my face represent us, as a country. And my race represent us as a country because we’re truly a melting pot. So there is no distinctive look or feel or design of an American. We’re all Americans.”

He added, “So, to be Captain America, I want my Captain America to represent everybody. Not just a specific group of people.”

What do you make of these set videos? Do you think the new Captain America and Winter Soldier are working together? Or do you think this new Captain America is the guy Bucky is fighting in that second video?
