We reached out to get the scoop on what this Vampirella Halloween Special will be all about. Blake told us she will be working on an 8-page back up story to the main story and Vampirella’s original sexy costume will be making an appearance!

Blake elaborates:

“In my back-up story, Vampirella will be wearing both a Halloween costume, as well as her classic costume – so I can DEFINITIVELY say that yes, the original is back.

The cover is absolutely gorgeous! Ever since Dynamite debuted it, it has received such a positive response from both male and female fans. My Twitter feed and DMs have been on fire, and it’s been so much fun to see the excitement.”

And Blake’s not exaggerating! A number of people shared their excitement for the Vampirella Halloween Special.

And while the original costume will be making a return, when asked what we can expect from the Halloween costume, Blake was a little coy, telling us, “That would be telling.”

This Vampirella Halloween Special is expected to hit stores on October 24, 2018.

Here’s the official solicitation:

Where Vampirella comes from they don’t celebrate birthdays-so she had to choose her own. Is it any wonder she picked Halloween night? Unfortunately, her simple celebration is interrupted by-you guessed it-one of those pan-dimensional demonic invasions that often seem to take place on All Hallows Eve!”
