DC Comics Announces Epic Crossover between He-Man and Injustice
DC Comics announced a brand new six-issue miniseries crossover between He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and DC Comics’ Injustice universe. The new series will be written by Tim Seeley with artwork by Freddie E. Williams II.
Seeley has become a top-notch writer at DC Comics penning Grayson, Nightwing, and Green Lanterns. Williams II has become DC Comics’ go-to crossover artist. He’s absolutely crushed it on Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and his He-Man/Thundercats miniseries is absolutely brilliant. It was one of my favorite comic books from last year.
The story will see a robotic impostor take control of Eternia believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe have been defeated. However, He-Man will quickly regain control from this imposter. But there’s a catch not everyone is happy to see the imposter deposed.
After He-Man secures freedom for Eternia, he will be recruited by the heroes of the Injustice dimension to take down the dictatorial Superman. He-Man will team up with Batman and his allies to battle “dangerous and familiar enemies in a battle where no world is safe!”
Tim Seeley’s excited about the project!
You would be AMAZED how perfectly Masters of the Universe and the Injustice game match up. Themes of the responsibility of power, it’s tendency to corrupt…also Orko vs.Bane.

And for me, it’s s helluva full circle to come to write He-Man fighting Superman. This is the first DC comic I ever owned: pic.twitter.com/DEdlWaeGEa

Seeley even teased a number of match-ups we are going to get to see in the brand new miniseries.
Anyway, just a few of the awesome match ups you’ll see in this series, as drawn by the amazing Freddy, include He-Man vs. Faker, Swamp Thing chilling with Moss Man, and Teela vs Harley Quinn. You’ll also get an “Injustified” He-Man design.

He’s already been sharing references with Freddie Williams II.
