Spinning out of Valiant’s Book of Death and 4001 A.D. events, War Mother tells the story of Ana, a 41st century woman who wields a sentient rifle named Flaco.
In War Mother #2, Ana must venture beyond the safety of The Grove in order to find a new safe haven for her people. The Grove, a bioengineered utopia is starting to decay and can no longer provide safety and nourishment. The War Mother must save her people from extinction in a harsh 41st century Earth. She will face perverse monstrosities and traverse across harsh landscape. Will she be able to stand against the shadows of the future’s darkest frontier?
War Mother #2 is written by Fred Van Lente with artwork by Stephen Segovia. It will feature covers by David Mack, Renato Guedes, Paulina Ganucheau, and Clayton Henry.
