Marvel Teams Up With Archie Comics for Marvel Comics Digest!

Marvel and Archie Comics are teaming up for a brand new initiative, Marvel Comics Digest, aimed at big box retailers, newsstands, and comic shops.

This new format, a specialty of Archie Comics will highlight some of the most-loved Marvel Comics stories for new and young readers.

Here’s how it will work:

Archie will publish six Marvel digests a year beginning in 2018. There will be four published in 2017. Found within the digests will be Marvel stories from various eras featuring the Amazing Spider-Man and the Avengers. In fact, the Amazing Spider-Man and Avengers will be first up. Marvel Comics Digest: Starring the Amazing Spider-Man will be available in June. Future Marvel Comics Digests will star Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the X-Men.
