Penny Dreadful Continues in Comic Form!
The popular Showtime series will continue in comic book form with a brand new series that will be set six months after the shocking events of the Penny Dreadful season three TV finale.
This new series, Penny Dreadful: The Awakening, will be written by Penny Dreadful TV series Co-Executive Producer Chris King. He will be joined by interior artist Jesús Hervás. Jason Wordie will provide colors.
Penny Dreadful: The Awakening will see Ethan Chandler unable to move on. He searches, desperately for meaning in a world without Vanessa. And he will soon find it. Ancient words echo across the centuries and call him to once again take up arms against the creatures crawling out of the night.
Penny Dreadful: The Awakening #1 will feature covers by Stephen Mooney, Rob Davis, Shane Pierce, and Louie De Martinis. There will also be two connecting variant covers.
