‘Symmetry’ Getting Trade Edition in May
Matt Hawkins and Raffaele Ienco’s dystopian sci-fi story Symmetry is getting a collected edition this May from Top Cow and Image Comics.
Symmetry begins with Earth finally achieving utopia. Hunger, sickness, and even work are all relics of the past. However, in achieving this utopia, individuality, creativity, and negative emotions are genetically bred out and suppressed. People are also segregated into specific locations.
The utopia comes crashing down when a solar flare knocks out a key piece of technology propping it up. Society is torn asunder. In the aftermath, a blossoming love begins between Michael and Maricela that sparks a revolution. Will it be the salvation for mankind or bring about their destruction?
Symmetry Vol. 1 will collect the first four issues of Symmetry. It will be available on Wednesday May, 25 on comic book shelves everywhere and on Tuesday, May 31st in bookstores. It will run you $9.99. [easyazon_link identifier=”1632156997″ locale=”US” tag=”bounintocomi-20″]Pre-order your copy today[/easyazon_link].
