A new report details that a Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga spin-off is in the works.

This new report comes a little over a year after mangaka Koyoharu Gotōge completed Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba with Chapter 205.

It also comes a few short months after Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie – Mugen Train released into North American theaters and grossed over $47 million. The film has earned $479.3 million worldwide with a whopping $365.5 million in Japan.

The report comes from manga and anime scooper WSJ_manga who claims, “A Kimetsu no Yaiba spin-off titled Kimetsu Gakuen! will start serialization in Saikyo Jump on August 4th by Natsuki Hogami.”

They add, “Koyoharu Gotouge has drawn a commemorative illustration in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #31.”

Twitter user WSJ_manga previously revealed the cover for Weekly Shonen Jump #31 adding credibility to the claim about the Demon Slayer spin-off.

Saikyo Jump is no stranger to spin-off series. It currently publishes Dragon Ball GT, Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Big Bang Mission!!! Dragon Ball SD, One Piece Gakuen, Shiri Kodama!, and Jitsushoku! Usakichi-kun.

Previous spin offs include Black Clover SD Asta-kun’s Road to Magic Emperor, Boruto: Saikyo Dash Generations, One Piece Party, Dragon Ball Heroes: Super Charisma Mission, as well as various Super Dragon Ball Heroes stories.

Given the title for this new Demon Slayer series is Kimetsu Gakuen it is more than likely the spin-off might be similar to One Piece Gakuen or One Piece School where the various characters from One Piece are put in a school setting.

Are you looking forward to this Demon Slayer spinoff?
