Deadpool Promises “Big, Pink Surprise” Tonight
Avengers: Infinity War has everyone talking, but Deadpool 2 is just over a month from it’s official release date as well and the two movies have one big thing in common. That’s Thanos and Cable actor Josh Brolin. And it looks like Deadpool is going to have some fun with Brolin playing both Cable and Thanos.
The Merc with a Mouth announced he’s going to have a “big, pink surprise” for us tonight during FX’s premiere of Deadpool at 7:30 p.m. And there’s also the trademark Deadpool humor to go along with the announcement, “That sounds dirty, but it’s not. I promise.”

Deadpool 2 will see Deadpool go head to head with Cable as he attempts to prevent him from killing a young kid played by Julian Dennison. Deadpool will even form his own team of mutants called the X-Force. The X-Force will feature Domino played by Zazie Beetz, Negasonic Teenage Warhead played by Brianna Hildebrand, Bedlam played by Terry Crews, and Shatterstar portrayed by Lewis Tan. Bill Skarsgård, Shioli Kutsuna, and Rob Delaney. We don’t have confirmations who Bill Skarsgård is playing, but the most likely choices are either Zeitgeist or Rictor. Shioli Kutsuna is most likely playing Surge, and Rob Delaney is referred to as “Peter” in the trailer. It’s possible he is Pete Wisdom.
While Cable might appear to be the primary antagonist in the most recent trailers, Jack Kesy was cast as the main villain for the film. It’s unclear who he will be playing, but a report from Omega Underground last August indicated he could be playing Cain Marko a.k.a the Juggernaut. Other reports indicate he could be Black Tom.
What do you think the big announcement is going to be? Which X-Force member are you most excited to see on the big screen?
Deadpool 2 comes to theaters on May 18, 2018.
