Mel Gibson Talks Suicide Squad Sequel at Oscars
ET caught up with Mel Gibson at the Oscars last night to talk to him about where in negotiations he is with Warner Bros. for the Suicide Squad Sequel.
First, Gibson confirmed he is in talks to direct the Suicide Squad sequel, but he also noted his talks were more of a “first date” with Warner Bros.
He elaborated when ET asked if he was going to direct the sequel, “I don’t know. I just met some guys about story points. It’s not a done deal or anything. But it’s just fun to shoot the bull when it comes to stories. I love doing it. And if we can elevate any kind of concept it’s good. We’ll see.”
Take a listen. He talks Suicide Squad at the :50 mark.
Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge won two Oscars last night for Best Film Editing and Best Sound Mixing. Suicide Squad won for Best Makeup and Hair Design. It could be a match made in heaven. What do you think?
