SEXCASTLE to get Big Screen Adaptation
Kyle Starks’ graphic novel, Sexcastle, is getting the big screen adaptation courtesy of Fox. They have already named a director in Kyle Newacherk as well as the lead role in Blake Anderson. Not only does it have two big names from Comedy Central’s “Workaholics,” but Anthony and Joe Russo will be producing the film alongside Mike Larocca.
That is the same Russo brothers who directed Captain America: Winter Soldier and the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. They are also planned to direct the two Avengers: Infinity Wars films.
Kyle Stark’s Sexcastle debuted last year from Image Comics and is a homage to 80s action movies. The story follows Shane Sexcastle, the Former World’s Greatest Assassin, who has decided to finally leave the game and retire to a quiet life of selling flowers in a small town. However, his quiet life is quickly interrupted and he is drawn back into the game.
Are you looking forward to seeing an 80s action movie homage take to the big screen?
