What Happened?
Around 1:30 pm in the afternoon, local time, the crew was filming at the Water Taxi filing location at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. The crash occurred during a stunt driving sequence when the vehicle hit a set object.
Deadline’s source indicates the set object was a cargo crate. They then indicate that either the cargo crate or the vehicle plowed into the video village. A video village is an area where producers and directors watch the scene on monitors. It had been set up behind the crate.
Following the accident production on the show was shut down and they cancelled filming for tomorrow. The show was nearing the end of filming and was expected to wrap up this weekend. It’s unclear when they will finish given the accident.
