SyFy Releases New Trailer for Rick Remender’s Deadly Class Adaptation!
SyFy released a brand new trailer for the live-action adaptation of Rick Remender’s Deadly Class. Take a look:

Here’s the official description of the show from SyFy:
“Set in a dark, heightened world against the backdrop of late ‘80s counterculture, DEADLY CLASS follows the story of Marcus (Benjamin Wadsworth), a teen living on the streets who is recruited into Kings Dominion, an elite private academy where the world’s top crime families send their next generations. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques and his own adolescent uncertainties soon proves to be vital. Based on the best-selling 2014 Image Comics graphic novel by Rick Remender and Wes Craig, DEADLY CLASS is a coming-of-age journey full of ancient mystery and teen angst.”
The series will star Benjamin Wadsworth, Benedict Wong, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Luke Tennie, Liam James, and Michel Duval. It is being produced by Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War director Joe and Anthony Russo. They are joined by Mike Larocca and Mick Betancourt. Rick Remender, Miles Orion Feldsott, and Mick Betancourt share duties as showrunners.
The original comic book series was written by Rick Remender with art by Wesley Craig and colors by Lee Loughridge. It follows a group of students enrolled at King’s Dominion High School for the Deadly Arts as they train to become the top assassins for crime families across the world.
The series is currently on going with Deadly Class #36 expected to hit comic book shelves on December 5, 2018. The series has been collected in seven volumes so far along with [easyazon_link identifier=”1534308415″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]two deluxe editions[/easyazon_link].
Deadly Class premieres on SyFy on January 16 at 10/9 ct.
