Disney Actor David Henrie Arrested at LAX – Had Loaded Gun
Disney star David Henrie who starred in Wizards of Waverly Place alongside Selena Gomez was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for carrying a loaded gun.
Henrie also appeared in That’s So Raven as well as How I Met Your Mother and Arrested Development.
TMZ reports Henrie was arrested after TSA agents discovered the gun while he was going through a screening Monday morning. Agents detained Henrie and took him to a nearby station.
The gun was allegedly an M&P Shield 9mm pistol.
TMZ spoke to Henrie after he was released, where he stated he would make astatement later in the day.

Henrie would release a statement on Twitter stating:
“I take responsibility for the sitaution at LAX today. I unintentionally brought my legally owned gun which is registered in my name to the airport. I am so sorry for any trouble it caused, but I am appreciative of TSA’s efforts in implementing the safety laws that are in place to protect our beautiful country. More than anything I am humiliated and embarrassed that this even happened. But am thankful to the TSA, LADP and all involved today for their kindness and their professionalism during this process.”

The Los Angeles Airport Police Department Union expressed their appreciation for David’s professionalism and thanking the police officers.

The American Alliance of Airport Police Officers also remarked on David’s statement and wished him good luck in his career.
