Robert Downey Jr. and his manager Jimmy Rich posed for a photo on the set of Avengers 4. In that photo, we might have our first look at the new Avengers base.

As you can see the two are standing in front of the massive Avengers logo. While the rest of the background is quite sparse, you can see scaffolding and wires that could be hinting the logo was just put up.
It’s possible this might be the Avengers new base following the events of Avengers 4, which will most likely see our heroes revisit the Battle of New York where they faced down Loki and the Mind Stone.
It even looks very familiar to the base we were introduced to do at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Obviously, there wasn’t the huge Avengers logo, but it did have the large warehouse look.
Unfortunately, we won’t know what this is until we see it in a forthcoming trailer for the untitled Avengers 4 movie or see it in theaters.
One thing for sure is that production does seem to be finally wrapping up on Avengers 4 albeit a month past it’s original end date. Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye, just wrapped up his scenes and so has Elizebeth Olsen and Scarlet Johansson who portray Scarlet Witch and Black Widow.
While initial production might be wrapping up, there are sure to be reshoots for the mega blockbuster.
But before we get to that we have Avengers: Infinity War to look forward to where Thanos aims to bring the pain down on Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers as he seeks out all of the Infinity Stones. We know from the trailer he already has two and that doesn’t include the Mind Stone that Corvus Glaive appears to pull from Vision’s head.
Avengers: Infinity War comes to theaters on May 4!
