Avengers: Infinity War is still crushing it in theaters, but Marvel Studios isn’t satisfied with it’s roaring success. Just after the first weekend of Avengers: Infinity and they already released a brand new Ant-Man and The Wasp trailer. And if you were sleeping on this movie, this trailer will wake you right up. It looks fan-freakin-tastic!

From the opening scene, I was taken back to my childhood where I played with a Tonka truck and pushed it around the living room. Now imagine that, but you are Ant-Man pushing around a real flatbed truck. Talk about awesome!

And the awesome doesn’t stop there. The trailer showcases high-flying action with both Ant-Man and The Wasp. The Wasp is definitely a formidable hero and is aptly described as “more intense.” We get to see her abilities in full display when she fires energy blasts, transforms salt shakers, and just beats down bad guys.

The trailer also introduces us to the main plot of the film. Michael Peña’s Louis describes what we can expect when he meets Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym. The Quantum Realm has been opened up, but Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost stole his technology and is apparently trying to take over the world. Hank Pym is forced to turn to Louis and his team, who helped Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang steal the Ant-Man suit in the first movie.

The final scene also introduces us to Laurence Fishburne’s Dr. Bill Foster and the Goliath Project where Scott Lang and Foster compare how big they’ve gotten in their suits. Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne makes an appropriate joke.

This trailer has me absolutely hyped. I can’t wait to see Ant-Man and The Wasp fighting together because as the soundtrack says, “It takes two to make a thing go right!”

However, it appears the big mystery Marvel Studios is going to leave us with, is where is Michelle Pfieffer’s Janet Van Dyne. Obviously, Hank Pym was able to break into the Quantum Realm, is she still trapped there? Will they still have to rescue her? Where is she?

Ant-Man and The Wasp hits theaters on July 6, 2018.
