Massive Avengers 4 Plot Details Leak Online

Some massive Avengers 4 plot details have leaked online from the same source who leaked the return of the Red Skull and the death of Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War.

Time Travel

Ant-Man

These new details confirm the theory that time travel will take place in Avengers 4. Many had been speculating that time travel would take place after set photos showed off Tony Stark, Captain America, Thor, and Loki in outfits around the time of the first The Avengers film and the Battle of New York when Loki led the Chitauri with the Mind Stone.

The source confirms time travel will take place, “They recruit Ant-Man to help them travel through time and space using the Quantum Real to retrieve the Infinity Stones from different time periods.”

A New Infinity Gauntlet

If they are going to be collecting the Infinity Stones from different time periods they are obviously going to need another Infinity Gauntlet in order to wield the power of the Infinity Stones. We know that humans are unable to control the Power Stone, and even Thanos needed the Infinity Gauntlet to wield all six of the Infinity Stones. That means the Avengers will need their own Infinity Gauntlet.

And it looks like Tony Stark will be leading the charge. The source writes, “Iron Man reassembles the Avengers and decides to build his own Infinity Gauntlet to undo everything that Thanos did.”

But with Iron Man and the Avengers attempting to undo everything he has done, Thanos won’t sit quietly by. He will do everything in his power in order to stop them.

A New Mjolnir

While, the Avengers are traveling through time in order to prevent everything that Thanos has done with the Infinity Gauntlet, their changes will give them access to weapons that still exist in the past. One of those weapons is Mjolnir. If you remember, Mjolnir was destroyed by Hela in Thor: Ragnarok.

But it appears the weapon will return in Avengers 4 and will be wielded by Captain America.

The source writes, “Timeline alterations have restored Mjolnir, and Cap wields it against Thanos to allow the others to escape.”

Thor’s Story

Thor

In order to defeat Thanos, the Avengers are going to need help. Thor will allegedly attempt to raise his own army in order to challenge Thanos’ army of Outriders and Chitauri. But he won’t be alone in raising this army, Captain Marvel will aid him in forming a formidable force to challenge Thanos.

The source writes, “Thor’s subplot centres on him assembling an army to challenge Thanos. Captain Marvel joins him.”

Hulk’s Story

Hulk

While Tony Stark might be the one getting the Avengers back together and putting the plan in motion to rebuild the Infinity Gauntlet, he’s obviously not powerful enough to be able to wield the Infinity Gauntlet. Cue the Hulk.

Bruce Banner and the Hulk will eventually make peace with each other and merge together to form Professor Hulk. Professor Hulk will wield the Stark Gauntlet against Thanos in an attempt to undo everything the Mad Titan wrought. However, there will be a price to pay for wielding the gauntlet. Professor Hulk will lose his arm.

The source writes, “Hulk’s subplot centres on Banner and Hulk finally merging to become Professor Hulk. He is the one that ultimately wields the Stark Gauntlet against Thanos, losing his arm in the process.”

The Guardians of the Galaxy and Nebula

Guardians of the Galaxy

Most of the Guardians of the Galaxy were turned to dust when Thanos snapped his fingers. The only surviving Guardian was Rocket Raccoon. It appears the Guardians might actually be retconned completely during the movie as the Avengers seek out the Power Stone before the Guardians of the Galaxy are actually formed. It’s more than likely the Guardians will survive as the Avengers will be attempting to undo Thanos’ snap.

The source writes, “Several MCU movies are revisited and retconned (probably not permanently), such as the Avengers retrieving the Power Stone creating a timeline where the Guardians of the Galaxy never came together.”

As for Nebula, she will have her own adventure through time as she will face off against her murderous self in an attempt to redeem herself.

The source writes, “Nebula’s subplot centres on her efforts to redeem herself. At one point, she fights her murderous past self.”

Hawkeye’s Story

Ronin

Hawkeye was a huge topic of conversation leading up to Avengers: Infinity War. The character didn’t even show up in the film and he was hardly in the marketing for the film. However, it appears Clint Barton will play a much larger role in Avengers 4.

While the Avengers are still constructing the Stark Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos and his minions will launch an attack against its location in order to foil the Avengers plan. Hawkeye will play a pivotal role in defending the unfinished Gauntlet and giving the Avengers a greater chance at success.

The source writes, “At one point, Hawkeye must protect the unfinished Stark Gauntlet from Thanos’ minions. He plays an ‘instrumental’ role in Thanos’ defeat.”

Doctor Strange’s Story

Doctor Strange

The source didn’t have much about Doctor Strange except that he will fight a fully CGI character.

The source writes, “There’s a pivotal scene between Doctor Strange and a fully CGI character being shot on a secret location, with a skeleton crew, and which takes up a sizeable portion of the budget.”

Who Dies

Captain America

A number of characters died in Avengers: Infinity War including Loki, Heimdall, Gamora, and others. It looks like that list of dead characters will increase in Avengers 4. It appears Captain America will definitely bite the bullet as Thanos will kill him. His death won’t be in vain as he will use Mjolnir to hold off Thanos and give the rest of the Avengers a chance to escape the Mad Titan’s wrath.

But Captain America won’t be the only Avengers dying. While the source didn’t confirm any other deaths, he hinted that only two of the original Avengers would survive.

The source writes, ““Only two of the original Avengers (Cap, Stark, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow) meant to survive the movie. Cap dies.”

What do you make of these potential leaks? Do you think this will actually happen in Avengers 4 or is this just complete conjecture?
